  A rose for Emily

my opinion about the reading segment A rose for Emily is that the story is very interesting ,it keeps the readers attention because of its plot with the main character and the people that surround her.The plot of the story for me was really interesting because at first was a little confusing but later on you understand what was really happening. So I think everybody should read this story.

The character I pick is Emily she represent anger because she was like mad because every man that got close to her leaved for some reason and she represent respect in some way because everybody in town respected her but only when they had her face to face because they talk bad thing about her when she was not around.

I saw emily from the beggining has a sad woman that has been trough much tings in life and was a little carzy.

The article i choosed from umaine was "Why not?". This article is about womans and the STEMS(high end carrers in Science,Technology,Engineering, and Mathematics).It explains how there is a low percentage in womans taking this type of careers because they are more male dominated careers  but that womans should give it a try if they like it.
